I was very pleased with these dishes and am glad I ordered two sets so I have service for eight. They were delivered almost immediately, were very well packaged and complement other dishes with designs on them. They are light weight which is a blessing for those with arthritis. Made of a glass material, not melamine. And I love the mugs. Just the right size for that morning cup of coffee or afternoon tea. Microwavable, fit in the dishwasher and the price was right.

This Livingware set has been so easy to use. I love the way it cleans up so nicely and always looks new. I have a large family of 6 and we put our dishes to the test! I chose these dishes because they stand up to the rough wear and tear my kids put them through.

I'm a late bloomer when it comes to using Corelle. My mom used heavy dinnerware, and I followed suit, always thinking lightweight plates were tacky. Then Corningware started coming out with beautiful patterns and shapes...I bought my first set then and loved them ever since. I bought these as a starter set for a graduating son--nothing fancy, inexpensive and a nice neutral color, yet not white.
These dishes do break, although it takes some doing. When that happens, it is a shattered, sharp mess. The upside comes in dealing with the company who makes them. Wonderful service and replacement (even free if they break soon after purchase). Put together attractive durability and top-notch service and you have one great product.
